2nd city crash in as many days is fatal

For the second time in two days, Hermitage police responded to a fatal traffic crash.

Robert Sinkovich , 31, of the New Wilmington area, died Sunday of blunt force trauma to the head and abdomen, said Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle III.

Chief Deputy Coroner Dr. Charles Zeigler pronounced Sinkovich dead at 2:07 a.m. at the scene.

Sinkovich was the lone occupant of a car that rolled several times at 2:05 a.m. at 1439 Maple Drive, police said.

At 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a car crash claimed the life of Nicholas Joseph Colatarci, 21, of Route 208, Pulaski.

Colatarci was southbound in the 2100 block of South Hermitage Road when his car went off the road and hit a tree, police said.
