New Castle's two fireworks companies, Pyrotecnico and Zambelli Internationale, will provide fireworks displays during the community's annual "Winter Wonderland" light-up night festivities Nov. 20 in downtown New Castle.

Entertainment, a ribbon-cutting ceremony plus a parade will be part of the evening's activities.

"I am really excited about what has been planned," said Mike Mancuso, president of the New Castle Downtown Business Association. "This year's activities will be the best ever."

Entertainment begins at 6 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 6:45 p.m. to officially open the new look of downtown New Castle.

Fireworks by Pyrotecnico will kick off the holiday parade at about 7 p.m. The route takes marchers throughout the newly developed downtown business district. Culminating the evening will be fireworks by Zambelli Internationale.

Plans for free parking in designated lots with shuttle bus service to downtown New Castle are being finalized.
