in crash death A Warren, Ohio, man is facing vehicular homicide charges in the May 25 death of Donald Allan Kermiet, Sharpsville. Kermiet was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle driven by Timothy Ryan Mallory, 27, of 1910 Northfield NW, Warren, that crashed on state Route 60 in Lawrence County. State Police said Mallory was driving north at 97 mph on the toll portion of Route 60 when he lost control of the SUV. It ran off the road, hit an embankment and flipped, police said at the time of the crash. Mallory was thrown from the SUV and Kermiet, 34, of 457 Georgetown St., was found dead in the back seat, police said. Mallory is charged with vehicular homicide, drunken driving, aggravated assault with a vehicle and various summary offenses, Lawrence County District Attorney Matthew T. Mangino said Friday. |
