in stolen pickup truck A Greenville man faces several felony charges after he allegedly broke into an apartment and stole the victim's money and the keys to a pickup truck. Greenville-West Salem Township police accuse Daniel D. Stebbins, 30, of 151 S. Mercer St., of breaking into an apartment on South Mercer in Greenville at about 8 p.m. Wednesday. Once inside, Stebbins took $45 from a wallet and the keys, police said. Police said Stebbins then stole the resident's 1978 Dodge pickup. Stebbins was arrested about an hour later, at 9:18 p.m., when Sharon police responded to a call of a disabled vehicle. The truck had stalled at East State Street and Case Avenue, police said. Stebbins was charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property by Greenville police and with driving on a suspended license by Sharon police. |
