Brookfield junior high and senior high students will decorate the gazebo and green with lights. Choirs from both schools will entertain with Christmas songs at 6:30 p.m. Local Scout troops, followed by music from church organizations, will join them.

Trustees said they want other community groups and residents to join in by setting up hot chocolate stands or making cookies to serve to the crowd.

"If nothing else," Trustee Gary Lees said, "just show up, wish your neighbors a happy holiday and just have fun!"
