Some people like their jam on toast. Keith Souders likes his jam in Greenville and Grove City.

The 27-year-old Souders was recently named director of Downtown Ministries' jam houses in both towns. The Christian coffee house-style ministries go by Mustard Seed Jam House in Greenville and Broad Street Jam House in Grove City. Mustard Seed Jam House has been in existence for 10 years; Broad Street Jam House for six years.

"It's a non-profit organization supported by the local churches and ministries in each community," Souders, who lives in Greenville, said of Downtown Ministries, Inc. A silent auction to support Downtown Ministries, Inc., will be held at 7 p.m. today at Greenville Knights of Columbus on Clarksville Street in Greenville.

Downtown Ministries has a staff headed by Martin Johnson of Greenville, the president, and a board of directors.
