Stores open
in new plaza; Subway eatery will be next

Eat, rent a movie and have your nails done.

All three can be accomplished at Sharon Gallery, the plaza that opened its doors Wednesday at East State Street and Stambaugh Avenue in Sharon.

Developed by The McClure Co., two of the 2,200-square-foot plaza's tenants, Movie Gallery and Pro Nails were ready to open Tuesday. A third store, a Subway sandwich shop, is scheduled to open closer to Christmas. The Subway will have a Tuscany decor -- a new format for the chain, which has an Italian market theme.

Schiderly Construction, New Castle, built the plaza.

"There's a potential for two or three more stores here,'' said Richard McClure, president of McClure.
