A tentative trial date has been set for one of three men accused of breaking into a Grove City tattoo parlor in August.

Shawn A. Mihordin, 19, of 12 Applewood Lane, Mercer, was arraigned Tuesday in front of Mercer County Common Pleas Judge Thomas R. Dobson, who tentatively scheduled a trial for February.

Along with Mihordin, facing charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespassing and conspiracy in county court are Crystal L. Vaughan, 19, of 324 Brandy Springs Apartments, Mercer, and Lemeul "Lee" Pineiro-Malick, 21, of 2939 Tamarack Drive, South Pymatuning Township.

The trio allegedly broke into Squirrelly's Skin Art, Inc., between Aug. 20 and 21. Cash and items valued at more than $3,000 were taken, including almost $600, a pigment set, a tattoo machine and more than 200 compact discs in a case, police said, adding that the business was entered through a back door.

Both Mihordin and Pineiro-Malick, whose bonds were set at $10,000 each, were in Mercer County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon. Ms. Vaughan is free on $5,000 bond.

Charges were dropped against a fourth person, Shane J. Catrucco, 24, of 359 Connelly Blvd., Sharon, in October, when two of the other defendants testified that he was not involved.
