    Contestants share how they found "the one"

    THOSE who entered The Herald's third annual Valentine's Day contest responded to the theme about how the knew they had met ``the one'' they wanted to spend their lives with. The Herald received 51 entries.

    The winners and their prizes are:

    [heart] First place: Bethann Andolina, Pymatuning Township, who won a weekend getaway at a local hotel.

    [heart] Second: Jesse Rosales, Sharon, dinner a local restauruant

    [heart] Third: Laura Krantz, Sharon, a dozen roses.

    [heart] Fourth: Donna M. Walsh, Burghill, candy.

    [heart] Fifth: Margaret Linn, Clarks Mills, candy.

    In many of the entries, the couples had been separated by various circumstances but somehow had been brought back together. Most mentioned that the love of their partner and loving their partner made the joys sweeter and softened difficult times.
