Koloff's is among the biographies that are being loaded -- for a price -- on a new Web site, "Celebrate A Life." The site, which was unveiled on Feb. 1, can be found at: http://www.celebratealife.com .
The site was founded by Celebrate A Life president Tom Flynn, owner of Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, and vice president Bob Robinson, owner of a San Francisco consulting firm.
"We kept it simple to use," explained Robinson of the site. "We wanted to capture who you really are."
Friends and family members, he said, can post a professionally written biography of relatives who have died as they want to be remembered. The living, like Koloff, can also have their own biographies created and posted. Family histories can also be linked to together, Robinson added.
"Through a search you can trace anybody down," he said, of the biographies created for the site.
Biographies are offered in price packages -- silver, bronze, gold, and platinum. Packages include audio and visual options, such as photographs and film footage, he said.
Base prices for biographies, without additional options, can vary from $995 to $2,295. Price quotes for platinum packages are available.
In addition, Robinson said families have the option of making biographies password protected. No one can get into a site unless they have that keyword entry.

Robinson said guests who check sites have the opportunity to leave messages and send computer images -- flowers, flags or hands praying.
Flynn said the option of having a biography on the Internet can help preserve the memories of family members for a lifetime. "It can be a link to every family member on the family tree," he said.
Celebrate a Life, Flynn added, is working with genealogical societies on setting up such links. The Web site was designed by Generator Inc., Chicago. A fund has been set up so that Celebrate A Life biographies will be maintained on the Web. There is a 30-day money back guarantee, Flynn said.
