The latest round of campaign finance reports, which were due Friday in the county election office, isn't full of surprises.
The largest sums raised and spent in the second cycle of finance reports were in the nine-candidate race for county commissioner. Three Republicans and six Democrats are on primary ballots.
The reports cover expenses and revenues from Jan. 1, 1999 through May 3. Most contributions ranged between $50 and $500 though there were a few between $800 and $1,000.
The next set of reports needs to be filed by June 17; they will include transactions through June 7.
