`Local trucker dies in Ohio accident`

Ronald L. Williams, 39, of 1025 Woodview Place, Her-mitage, was killed in a truck crash at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 76 in Palmyra Township, Portage County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Williams drove for PAM Trucking Co., Warren, Ohio.

Williams was eastbound when the tractor trailer went off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. The truck struck a storm drain and became airborne and struck an embankment on state Route 225, where it came to rest, police said.

No one else was injured, police said.
