The route is locally known as Shenango Valley Freeway and Connelly Boulevard.

Left turning lanes will be added at Smith, Service and Spencer avenues.

The route's median barrier will be extended through the intersection at South Myers Avenue, allowing a six-foot opening to remain for pedestrian crossing.
