YOUNGSTOWN
Playhouse seeks actors for ‘Piano Lesson’
Youngstown Playhouse will hold auditions for August Wilson’s play “The Piano Lesson” at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kenneth Brown will direct the cast, which calls for black performers. Five men, aged 20 to 60, are needed, as well as two women, aged 30 to 50; and one girl of about 11 years old.
The story is about a family conflict over the proposed sale of a piano that has been in the family for generations to finance a land deal.
Rehearsals begin Jan. 10 and performance dates are March 10-19
