Christian art group sponsors traveling show
Artists are invited to submit work for the traveling exhibition “Abstraction: The Power of Memory.”
The show, sponsored by Christians in the Visual Arts, will travel to U.S. museums and galleries for three years beginning in September 2000.
Only works motivated by aspects of artists’ interaction with the Christian faith through the process of abstraction are eligible.
Artists may submit up to five slides of recent work. The jury fee is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
Juror is Ben Frank Moss, painter and professor of art at Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.H.
