Graduation 1996 Awards and Honors

Coolspring Township


Mercer County Career Center students Michael Craig and Jason McIlwain received the 1995-96 Outstanding Senior Awards during a recent ceremony at the school.

Michael studied drafting and design for three years at the Coolspring Township vocational school and was class president in his junior and senior years.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Craig of Charleston Road in Jefferson Township worked for Municipal Mapping Services in Grove City through the cooperative education program.

Michael graduated from Mercer High School, where he played football.

Jason, a student in the business and marketing technology program, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry McIlwain of Perry Highway, Springfield Township. A Grove City High School senior, he belonged to the Distributive Education Clubs of America, a student organization for marketing students.

Jason works at Eddie Bauer at the Grove City Factory Shops, Springfield Township. He was on the baseball and track teams at Grove City and was named to Who's Who Among High School Students.

Jason plans to pursue a career in business.
