A home is a personal sanc-
tuary where the many varied
comforts of life styles can be
enjoyed.
Although technology con-
tinues to positively change
our lives in many ways, it
may also have negative im-
pacts on “Our little piece of
the world”. One of the most
important concerns for
house or rental residents is
the increas-
ing number
of home
b u r g l a r i e s
that may
lead to relat-
ed personal injuries.
It is important that each
and every one address the
status of their home security.
Internets organizations are
currently offering referrals
for our local construction in-
dustry, and many of these or-
ganizations are located in
other states.
I personally returned an e-
mail, received a follow-up
call, and was told the referral
business was located in Col-
orado. When I inquired
about Pennsylvania and mu-
nicipal codes, regulations,
Mercer County customer re-
ferrals, the caller had little-to-
no-knowledge.”
Installing security systems
is an excellent way to pro-
vide home safely, but there
is also another extremely im-
portant factor when building
new or requesting a remold-
ing project is to hire a
builder or contractor, pur-
chase from suppliers and
employ the professional serv-
ices of those businesses lo-
cated in our area or that
have close relationships with
Mercer County businesses.
This is recommended be-
cause builders, contractors,
suppliers literally move into
your lives for the project
completion time, and the pro-
fessional services may obtain
extensive personal informa-
tion. Again these recommen-
dations are for the protec-
tion of personal and property
safety.
We are a comprehensive
source of industry informa-
tion for members and the
public. Included in our many
services are member refer-
rals who are respected in
every aspect of new or re-
modeling projects.
