Pollus shook hands with all the team members, who were honored during ceremonies at halftime of the Sharpsville-Wilmington football game Friday night (9/27/96). The '46 team, cheerleaders and band also got together with members of the community for a pre-game dinner at the Radisson Hotel, near West Middlesex. Ironically, the 1996 Blue Devils fell from the ranks of the undefeated Friday, losing to Wilmington, 35-0.
