Saleem and Cicuto head girls voting

Led by most valuable players Muhsinah Saleem of Sharon and Jamie Cicuto of Kennedy Christian, the Mercer County Athletic Conference released its 1997-98 all-star teams Monday.
Voting was conducted by the league coaches.
The MCAC divided its girls' teams into two divisions: Big School (Class AAA Slippery Rock, Sharon and Hickory, and Class AA Greenville, Grove City and Wilmington) and Small School (Class AA Mercer, Reynolds, Sharpsville and West Middlesex, and Class A Commodore Perry and Kennedy Christian).
Following are selections, including name, school and class:
Big School
- MVP _ Muhsinah Saleem, Sharon, 11.
- First Team _ Jamie Dick, Slippery Rock, 12; Kirsten Keller, Greenville, 12; Inge Jorgensen, Wilmington, 11; Mandy Clelland, Grove City, 12; Erica Youngman, Slippery Rock, 12.
- Second Team _ Cristy Gustas, Hickory, 10; Julie Laird, Grove City, 11; Jenny Bell, Sharon, 11; Celeste Buiser, Greenville, 12; Kelly Campbell, Wilmington, 12.
Small School
- MVP _ Jamie Cicuto, Kennedy, 11.
