Sassy Salsa

12-13 cups chopped tomatoes

1 large can tomato puree

2 cups chopped onion

1 cup chopped habanaro or jalapeno pepper

3 cups chopped hot banana peppers

1 1/2 cups bell peppers

1 cup cider vinegar

1. Bring all ingredients (except puree) to boil.

2. After boiling, add puree, 3 tablespoons of salt, 2 tablespoons black pepper, 3 tablespoons of basil and 4 tablespoons of parsley. Seasonings may be added to your taste.

3. Simmer 4 hours.

4. Can salsa hot in hot jars and lids. Serve with tortilla chips. (While preparing peppers, leaving in seeds makes salsa even hotter.)
