HERE ARE the winners and all 226 entered recipes in our annual reader recipe contest.
Readers entered their favorite recipes, and the best ones in the six categories competed in a bakeoff at Sharpsville Middle School for more than $1,000 in prizes.

The winning entries and all the recipes that were entered appeared in a cookbook that was published Oct. 27, 1996, in The Herald. A few additional printed copies of it and past years' are still available at our main office in Sharon.

The Herald's 1996 ``What's Cookin' in Your World'' recipe contest and cookbook were coordinated by Linda Linonis, features/community news editor, and Nancy Ash, newsroom assistant.
Stories about contestants were written by staff writers Jennifer Hall, Jim Martin and Shawn M. Starkey.
Cover design and html coding is by John Zavinski, director of graphics and technology.
Recipe contest photos were taken by Gene Paulson.
Assisting with the project were Sandy Scarmack, design editor; and Marciala Reyes Determan, page designer. Tom Gibbons, assistant composing manager, assembled the printed edition of the cookbook.
