Monterey Jack Baked Potato Slices 4 medium baking potatoes, baked and cooled
6 pats of butter
1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Jalapeno pepper slices
1/2 small red onion sliced
Black olives
2 or 3 tomatoes, cut into small wedges
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Slice potatoes; put in single layer on oven-proof dinner plate.
3. Evenly place pats of butter on top of potatoes. Place in oven until butter is melted.
4. Remove from oven. Then layer on top of potatoes: Monterey Jack cheese, Jalapeno pepper slices to your taste, onion slices, black olives to your taste and tomato wedges.
5. Put back in oven and heat until cheese is melted.
6. Serve cut into small chunks or wedges. Salt and pepper to taste.
