Milly's Stuffed Onions 6 large onions
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon lemon juce
1. Scoop out centers of onions. Chop up.
2. Stuff onions with mixture of ground beef, rice, nutmeg, parsley, egg, salt and pepper.
3. Dip top of stuffed onions in flour then brown in oiled frying pan.
4. Remove onions from pan and set aside.
5. Add chopped centers of onions to pan and brown, than add chicken broth and lemon juice. Return ovens to pan. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
