Spicy Tuna-Pasta Toss

6 ounces of tri-colored corkscrew pasta, uncooked

2 cans (6 1/8 ounces each) chunk white tuna in spring water, drained

1/2 cup sweet yellow pepper, cut into strips

1/2 cup quartered cherry tomatoes

1/4 cup diced celery

3/4 cup no-salt-added salsa

1/2 cup reduced calorie mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

2 tablespoons sliced green onions


Curly leaf lettuce leaves, optional

1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain and rinse under cold water.

2. Combine pasta, tuna, yellow pepper strips, cherry tomatoes and celery.

3. Combine salsa, mayonnaise and red pepper. Add to pasta mixture and toss. Cover and chill. Serve in a lettuce-lined bowl, if desired.

4. Sprinkle with green onions. Makes 6 servings. 236 calories per 1-cup serving
