Quick Shrimp Creole

1 small bag cocktail shrimp, deveined

1 1/2 cups cooked white rice

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

1/2 cup chopped onion

2 tablespoons butter

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cajun spices, optional





Sauce:

1 package McCormick Cheese Sauce

1 1/2 cups milk


1. Cook rice and set aside.

2. Devein shrimp. Saute shrimp in butter. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add green peppers and onions. When vegetables are tender, add rice to shrimp mixture.

3. Blend sauce ingredients together well. Microwave 3 minutes, stir and cook another 3 minutes. Add sauce to shrimp and vegetable mixture and cook another 3 minutes on medium heat.
