Macaroni and Meat Casserole 2 pounds cooked macaroni
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
6 tablespoons flour
5 cups milk
2 bouillon cubes
3 1/2 teaspoons salt
Dash pepper
2 cups of American cheese
4 cups of leftover meat (roast beef, pork, chicken, ham)
1. Saute butter and onion over low heat. Stir in flour until bubbly then add milk, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.
2. Add macaroni and leftover meat.
3. Place in a 4-quart baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (This also can be placed in a crockpot at low temperature and cooked overnight.)
