Spaghetti Crusted Turkey Pie

6 ounces uncooked spaghetti

2 beaten eggs

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2/3 cup non-fat yogurt

1 tablespoon oil

1 pound ground turkey

3/4 cup chopped green pepper

1/3 cup chopped onion

8 ounces tomato sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon oregano

4 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese


1. Spray pie plate. Break spaghetti in half. Cook in boiling water until tender, drain.

2 Mix eggs, Parmesan cheese and warm spaghetti. Pour into pie dish. Pat in bottom and up sides of plate, with back of spoon. Spread yogurt over bottom.

3. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat oil over medium heat. Crumble turkey into skillet, stir in green peppers and onions. Cook until turkey is no longer pink, drain.

4. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic powder and oregano. Simmer 10 minutes. Pepper to taste. Spoon turkey mixture over yogurt. Bake 25 minutes.

5. Arrange cheese on top and bake for 6-7 minutes until cheese melts.
