Applesauce Cookies

4 cups flour

2 cups white sugar or brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

Sprinkle of salt

2 cups of applesauce mixed with 2 teaspoons of baking soda

1 cup butter or margarine, melted

2 eggs


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl, then mix in applesauce with baking soda, add eggs and butter/margarine.

3. Put on greased cookie sheet. You can use Pam no-stick spray or butter.

4. Use a teaspoon to drop cookies on to cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes. Should make 4 dozen.
