Cherries in the Snow 7 egg whites
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 packages of Club crackers, broken
3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts)
1 large container of Cool Whip
1 large can of Thank You cherries
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar. Beat until very stiff. Add sugar and vanilla.
3. Fold in 2 packages of crackers, broken in large pieces. Add nuts.
4. Spread mixture in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
5. When cool, spread on Cool Whip and spoon on cherries. Chill 6 hours.
