No-Crust Custard Pie

2 tablespoons butter

4 eggs

4 1/2 tablespoons flour

1/2 cup sugar

3 cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt


1. Butter a 9-inch pie plate with 2 tablespoons butter.

2. Mix eggs, flour and sugar with a wire whisk.

3. Add milk, vanilla and salt to egg mixture and mix.

4. Pour into pie pan, sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
