Ugly Duckling Cake1 package yellow cake mix1. Combine cake mix, fruit cocktail and syrup, 1 cup of coconut and eggs in large mixer bowl. Blend and beat on medium for 2 minutes. 2. Pour into greased 9-by-13-inch pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar over batter and bake at 325 for 45 minutes. 3. In small pan, bring sugar, butter and evaporated milk to a boil and boil 2-3 minutes.
