George Seech
WE retiree was Buhl Club, Byzantine church member

George Seech, 6733 Warren Sharon Road, Brookfield, died of natural causes at 11:15 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2002, in his residence. He was 92.

Mr. Seech was born Feb. 18, 1910, in Sharon to George Seech and Anne Cmar Seech.

He was a graduate of Sharon High School and retired in 1972 after 44 years of employment with the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., where he was a foreman in the I-40 Building.

Mr. Seech was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage and belonged to the Buhl Club in Sharon.

He was a basketball player and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Mr. Seech also loved gardening and was a golfing enthusiast.

His wife, the former Pauline Simko, whom he married Feb. 29, 1932, died Dec. 13, 1998.

Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Edward B. (Shirley) Chaya, Ridgeway, Pa.; and Mrs. Daniel D. (Arlene) McQuiston, Frostproof, Fla.; a brother, Michael Seech and his wife Freda, Hermitage; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Besides his wife, Mr. Seech was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and four sisters.

Raymond E. Kovach
Packard retiree was Marine, dance group member

CORTLAND -- Raymond E. Kovach, 2886 Cadwallader Sonk Road, Cortland, formerly of Sharon, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002, in his home. He was 67.

Mr. Kovach was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Sharon to James Kovach and Anna Hogelman Kovach.

He lived in the Cortland area for 35 years and retired in 1991 after 33 years of employment with Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren, Ohio, where he was an electrician.

Mr. Kovach was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose, Warren; American Legion Post 162, Sharpsville; and the United States Amateur Ballroom Dance Association.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he served during the Korean conflict.

His wife, Nancy Kovach, whom he married Aug. 7, 1984, survives at home.

Also surviving are: a daughter, Kim Bickel, Cortland; a stepdaughter, Kathy Telego, Niles, Ohio; a stepson, David Flynn; four grandchildren, Charly and Samantha Flynn; and Adam and Ashley Bickel; two stepgrandchildren, Andrew and Laura Nagy; and a sister, Alma DeMario, Sharon.

Mr. Kovach was preceded in death by his parents; a stepson, Jim Flynn; five brothers, Lester, Norman, Joe, James and Al Kovach; and two sisters, Betty Kovach and Valerie Stogal.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tod Children's Hospital, 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, Ohio 44504.

KOVACH

Ruth T. Pryde, Sharon, formerly of 495 Clarksville Road, Hermitage, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Cordia Commons at the Shenango Inn, Sharon, following a brief illness. She was 91.
