Harold Beggs Harold Beggs, Grove City, formerly of Sandy Lake, died at 10:50 a.m. Saturday (12-7-02) in Trinity Living Center, Grove City. He was 93. Obituary information was incomplete.
BEGGS Ralph Woodworth Jr. Hempfield Township man was CBI retiree, Mason Ralph Woodworth Jr., 118 Fredonia Road, Hempfield Township, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. He was 74. Mr. Woodworth was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Greenville, a son of the late Ralph and Goldie Marie Wilson Woodworth. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Louise Glover Woodworth, whom he married on May 19, 1956. Mr. Woodworth was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Greenville, where he was a past president of the church Consistory. He was a 1947 graduate of the former Penn High School in Greenville and was a retired night supervisor with 30 years of service from Chicago Bridge and Iron Co.'s former Hempfield Township plant. Mr. Woodworth was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Eureka Lodge 290, Greenville, and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason with the New Castle Consistory. He was also a member of the Consistory Legion of Honor; a 31-year member of American Legion Post 140, Greenville; and belonged to the Flutter Wheels Square Dancers. He was the judge of elections for Hempfield Township and managed the Hempfield Skating Club. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Woodworth served during the Korean conflict and in the Second Army Medic Corps. Surviving besides his wife are: two daughters, Deborah L. Woodworth, Oldsmar, Fla.; and Dorothy M. Woodworth, Carthage, N.Y.; and a sister, Elizabeth Marie Woodworth, Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert E. Woodworth; and a sister, Helen M. Woodworth.
WOODWORTH Elizabeth C. Singleton Farrell native was Hubbard grad, homemaker Elizabeth C. Singleton of 413 Indiana Ave., Farrell, and formerly of Stateline Road in Masury, died at 10:15 p.m. Friday (12-6-02) in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was 66. Mrs. Singleton was born Nov. 19, 1936, in Farrell, a daughter of Frank and Theresa Link Petrinjak. Elizabeth was a 1954 graduate of Hubbard High School. A homemaker, her memberships included the Croatian Catholic Union Lodge 29. Her husband, Jack W. Singleton, whom she married in 1958, died on Jan. 3, 1969. Survivors include: two sons, Bryan Singleton, Hubbard; and Glenn Singleton, Aurora, Ohio; two sisters, Catherine Ondich, Farrell; and Mary Luchetti, Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, Frank Petrinjak, Hubbard; and Jack Petrinjak, Jackson, Tenn.; and three grandchildren. Besides her husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Gloria Chakan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family House, 233 McKee Place, Pittsburgh 15213; or the Building Fund of St. Anthony's Church, 804 Idaho St., Sharon 16146.
SINGLETON Rosemarie Esposito St. Joseph's member worked at Sharon schools A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday for Rosemarie Esposito, State Towers, 632 E. State St., Sharon. She passed away peacefully at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in her home of natural causes. She was 81. Rosemarie was born March 27, 1921, in Farrell to Alfonso Vasile and Mary Rocco Vasile. She attended Farrell area schools and was employed for several years in the Janitorial Department of Sharon City School District. A homemaker, Rosemarie was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Sharon. She enjoyed music, especially Italian and polka. Surviving are: one daughter, Donna Jean Kin and her husband John, Athens, Ala.; two sisters., Stella Cipriano and her husband, Andrew, Hermitage; and Ann Chapin, Lake St. Clair, Md.; one brother, Richard Vasile and his wife Christine, Masury; and a grandson, Ronald King. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon 16146; or American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 700, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235.
