DELAWARE TOWNSHIP

Police suspect woman a victim of foul play

State police said they suspect foul play in the disappearance of Sandra Kay Baker, the Delaware Township woman missing since May 25.

Police said a single suspect is the focus of the investigation and finding Ms. Baker and her car is a priority.

Trooper Robert Lewis said the suspect has been interviewed, but he would not elaborate on the suspect’s identity.

Lewis said he suspects foul play was involved, but had no new information about Ms. Baker.

"Until such time as we get a break, we’re kind of stuck," he said.

Ms. Baker, 46, of 62 Folk Road, was last seen by her fiancé, William Thomas Crea Jr., with whom she lived, between 8:30 and 9 a.m. May 25 at the Sheetz store on Route 18, Pymatuning Township, police said.

Crea told police he received a telephone call from Ms. Baker at 1 p.m. earlier that day in which she said she was in fear of danger and was not coming home. She said she would contact him in a couple of days, police said.

No money has been drawn from any of her accounts, police said. Crea and Ms. Baker’s family and closest friends said they have not heard from her.

Ms. Baker’s car was a 1988 dark blue, four-door Honda Accord. The Florida license plate is EQ762E, and a front vanity plays says "SANDY."

Ms. Baker is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 112 pounds. She has brown eyes and short, reddish hair.

Ms. Baker was last seen wearing a white tank top under a blue denim shirt, jeans and brown boots.
