Deanna M. Lumley, 21, was charged Thursday after a Wednesday morning incident when she asked a former neighbor on Hazelton Street in Masury for help with her car.
Lumley then stole the woman’s purse and hit her with her car as she made her getaway, police said. Lumley was driving a white 1993 four-door Chevy Corsica, police said. The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.
There was a similar incident at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday in Wilmington Township, Lawrence County, state police said.
A woman pushed an 80-year old woman and stole her purse from her home on Wilson Mill Road near state Route 158, police said. The robber was driving a four-door white sedan, police said
