Ellen Heckman, 101 Maple Ave., Hempfield Township, was admitted to UPMC Horizon, Greenville, after the two-vehicle accident. Her passenger, Cora Clark, 93, of 239 Fredonia Road, Hempfield Township, was reported in stable condition this morning in the Greenville hospital.

Police said the southbound car, driven by Mrs. Heckman, swerved as it rounded a curve on Methodist Road. It crossed the center, colliding with a northbound pickup, driven by Scott Disque, 30, of 571 Butler Pike, Findley Township, police said. Police did not say whether snow or other road conditions were factors. Disque was treated at UPMC Horizon, Greenville.
