Lisa A. Yuran, 33, of 254 White Ave., was driving west about a half-mile east of East Branch Road in East Lackawannock Township when she lost control of her car, state police said.

The crossed the center line, slid off the road and hit a tree on the driver’s side.

Police said Ms. Yuran, who was wearing a seatbelt, was flown to the hospital from the accident scene.
