GROVE CITY

Police look for cause of man’s death

State police are helping to investigate the death of a Grove City man found dead in his home last week.

Thomas Richard Muller, 39, of 427 Summit St., was found Friday evening at home by his fiancee. State police, who were asked for assistance by Grove City police, said he was pronounced dead at 2:35 a.m. Saturday.

Theresa A. Walochik, Muller’s fiancée, said she came home from work Friday evening and found Muller apparently dead, and that the coroner pronounced him dead after midnight.

A spokeswoman from Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle’s office said the cause of Muller’s death was pending. McGonigle was unavailable for comment this morning.

Ms. Walochik said Muller had been in good health, and it did not look like the house had been broken into.

Ms. Walochik said she and Muller had been together nine years and were going to get married in July.

Neither police department would release any additional information this morning.
