Police seek thief of automatic handgun from car

The following is this week's Mercer County Crime Solvers case:

  • Crime: Theft.

  • Details: Someone stole a black, Bryco Arms model .380-caliber automatic handgun on July 9 from a car parked on Independence Court in Sharon.

  • Call: Crime Solvers at 347-HELP, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone with information can also call Sharon police at 983-3210.

    Callers can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward.

  • Reward: Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization which offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in the Mercer County area.
