Steel-processing plant closes

A sign posted on the door of Hermitage Steel this morning said the company had lost its lease at the steel processing operation on Broadway Avenue in Hermitage.

Workers said this morning they were locked out of the plant.

The company's Canadian owner didn't immediately return a phone call this morning.

The steel plant employs a few dozen people.
