HERMITAGE

Trick-or-treater remains in hospital

A Hermitage boy hit by a car at 6 p.m. Wednesday while trick-or-treating was listed in good condition Saturday at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Robert Benger, 14, of 305 Sunset Blvd., darted across the 200 block of Easton Avenue into the path of a car driven by James Hofman, 72, of 3855 Morefield Road, Hermitage, police said.

He was initially taken to the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, and a hospital spokesperson had said he had been treated.

A Children's spokesman confirmed Saturday that Robert was a patient.
