WEST SALEM TOWNSHIP

Dad hurt in fatal fire still 'critical'

Scott Randall, who suffered burns after trying to rescue his 3-year-old daughter from a burning mobile home on Dec. 19, remained in critical condition this morning in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Randall reportedly suffered burns over 80 percent to 90 percent of his body and is undergoing skin grafts.

After he, Jane McKinney and their 18-month-old son Sean Michael Randall escaped from the burning trailer, Randall went back inside to try to rescue 3-year-old Samantha Lynn Randall from the mobile home at 326 Vernon Road in West Salem Township. Samantha died in the fire.
