A National Labor Relations Board hearing on unfair labor practice charges against Sharon Regional Health System was postponed Tuesday due to additional charges being filed against the nonprofit Sharon health care provider, the NLRB said.

The new hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Feb. 26.

The original charges were the result of a failed union organizing effort last February by the Service Employees International Union. The union filed complaints with the NLRB saying two workers were unjustly fired for their organizing efforts.

Sharon Regional denies the charge.

New charges allege another worker was fired for the same reasons and also the hospital failed to negotiate in good faith. The hospital also denies these latest allegations.
