Love chocolate? Sample desserts at annual festSample delectable desserts and fine chocolates at the annual "For the Love of Chocolate Festival" from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn Metroplex on Belmont Avenue.
Representatives at the fest will include: Philadelphia Candies, Gorant Candies Inc., Harry & David, Shelton-Mathews Chocolates, Ruthie's Candies, Cookies by Design, Baskets Plus, Mrs. Fields Cookies, Giannios Candy Co., Handels Ice Cream, Casual's de Spa and Lil' SweetPeas Children's Boutique.
There will be a Chinese auction featuring items for your sweetheart and there will also be a children's fashion show presented by Lil' SweetPeas, and cooking demonstrations by local chefs.
You can also try to win a romantic getaway weekend at the Holiday Inn Metroplex.
The Mahoning Chapter American Red Cross, in conjunction with WFMJ TV 21, Mix 98.9, and the Vindicator are sponsors. Tickets are: $10 for adults & $7 for children under 12.
