Brookfield police looking for pair of purse snatchers
The following is this week's Mercer County Crime Solvers case:
Crime: Robbery and theft.
Details: Two women were approached by two men Nov. 18 in a parking lot in the 500 block of Brookfield Avenue in Masury. One of the men grabbed a purse from one of the women and the pair drove off in a black, four-door vehicle that the victims described as "beat up." The purse was later found at Giant Eagle in Hermitage.
Both men were black. One was about 6 feet 2 inches tall and was wearing an orange stocking cap. The other man was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing a dark-colored hat.
