FARRELL, SHARON

Men allegedly shot at women

Three Warren, Ohio men were arrested early this morning after they fired shots at a group of women, police said.

Three women reported to Southwest Regional Police that men in a car fired gunshots at them at Roemer Boulevard and Broadway in Farrell around midnight, police said. The women said they didn't know the men, police said.

Southwest Regional police issued a description of the car and Sharon police spotted the car at State and Dock streets. Police followed the car for a short time before they stopped it at 12:37 a.m. in the 300 block of South Dock Street, Sharon police said.

Sharon police said they held Brian E. Miller, 21, Donnell T. Stubbs, 20, and Terrell A. Myrick, 21, for investigative detention until Southwest Regional police could pick them up.

Police said they obtained a search warrant for the car and found a .380-caliber semi-automatic pistol in the car.

The men will be charged with attempted homicide, police said.

The trio was supposed to be arraigned before District Justice Henry J. Russo, Hermitage, this morning.

The details of the incident are not clear, police said. They said they expect to have more details later.
