SV center offers long list of March programsThe Shenango Valley Senior Center, 220 N. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, offers a host of activities in March.
Free income tax-preparation assistance from AARP volunteers will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays and Thursdays.
Tax, rent rebate and PACE forms will be completed from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. An appointment is needed.
A six-part series, "Senior Health Literacy Program," will be held with nurse Jackie Glenn. Sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Affiliate, Minority Health Advocacy Program and Mercer County Area Agency on Aging, the first class is set for 1 p.m. March 20, and the second, 1 p.m. March 27.
