Mill Creek Metropark schedules March events
Mill Creek MetroPark, Canfield, will host the following events:
MetroParks nature photography exhibit -- through April 7 in the Weller Gallery.
Ice harvesting in Mill Creek -- through March 31 in Melnick Museum.
"Charming Trio" -- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Cost is $25 for residents; and $32 for non-residents.
"Rise and Bloom" -- 8:30 to 10 a.m. March 13 in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.
"Tales for Twos" 10 and 10:45 and 11:30 a.m. March 14 in Ford Nature Center, for 2-year-olds accompanied by an adults. Call the center to register.
"Is it Spring Yet?" 2 p.m. March 10 at Ford Nature Center.
"Spring Thaw" preschool nature hour -- 10 a.m. or 1 p.. March 15 and 16 in Ford Nature Center. Cost is $2. Call the center to register.
"Spring into Spring" -- 9 a.m. March 17 in Captain John Struthers Pavilion.
Library Anne's Story Garden -- 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. March 17 in Fellows Riverside Gardens' Antonucci Library.
"Lookin' for the Green" -- 2 p.m. March 17 in Ford Nature Center.
Spring landscape clinic -- 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 21 in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. call the gardens to register.
"Mr. McGregor's Garden Centerpiece" 10 a.m. to noon March 23 in Fellows Riverside Gardens. cost is $25 for residents and $32 for non-residents. Call the gardens to register.
Easter "Eggstravaganza" -- 11:30 a.m. March 23 in Wick Recreation Area's Judge Morley Pavilion, for 4- through 10-year-olds.
"Hello Spring!' 2 p.m. March 24 in Newport Wetlands.
"A Visit to the Heron Rookery" -- 1 p.m. March 30 in Ford Nature Center. Call the center to register.
