Daffodil Days locations set
More than 50,000 flowers are expected to be delivered throughout Mercer County during American Cancer Society Daffodil Days Campaign.
Flowers are available for purchase in bunches of 10 in the following locations:
Greenville -- Noon to 6 p.m. Thursday in Giant Eagle, Greenville; noon to 8 p.m. Friday in Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3374, Hempfield Township; and all week, both in Veado Mini Mart and First Christian Assembly, both Greenville.
Jamestown -- Noon to 5 p.m. Friday in Shawkey's SurShine; and First National Bank, both Jamestown.
Mercer -- Eckerd Drug, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Walt's and Mercer Physical Therapy, all Mercer; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Thursday and Friday in Mercer County Courthouse.
Sandy Lake -- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Mercer County State Bank, Sandy Lake.
Shenango Valley -- Noon to 8 p.m. today through Saturday both in Daffin's Candies, Sharon; and Shenango Valley Mall, Hermitage; and all week in UPMC Horizon Womancare Center, Sharon; UPMC Horizon, Farrell; and Sharon Regional Health System's Cancer Care Center, Hermitage.
Stoneboro -- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in McKean's Sure Fine, Stoneboro.
Funds raised will support the society's services to patients and their families in Mercer County. Support groups' 24-hour access to cancer information, transportation to outpatient doctor appointments and medication assistance will be supported through donations.
