The goat was found wandering during a snowstorm around 2 p.m. Monday in a parking lot at 300 Orange Drive, in the Patagonia area of Hermitage.

Initially described as a llama to Hermitage police, the adult goat was walking around the parking lot when police arrived.

Police called the animal shelter and, because of the cold weather, the shelter accepted the goat, police said.
